MASTER THE GRIND
-
WHOLE BEAN
Whole beans can be ground to any size, opening up a world of brewing possibilities.
They keep your beans fresh longer than ground coffee, and allow you to experiment with a variety of brew methods.
Caveat: You've got to have a coffee grinder handy!
-
COARSE GRIND
Coarse grind is like rugged pebbles, sturdy enough to withstand a long, slow extraction process.
They are perfect for brew methods that involve steeping, like the French Press or a Cold Brew. If you have a percolator or other stove-top brewing method, coarse grinds works great!
-
MEDIUM GRIND
Medium grind is the perfect middle ground for your home coffee brew. It creates a balanced and well-rounded flavor profile.
This grind size is perfect for your everyday Drip Coffee Maker or Pour-Over setup. It can also work great with an Aeropress-style extraction method.
-
FINE GRIND
Like powdered sugar to the touch, any high-pressure brew method will benefit from the smooth texture.
Finer particles offer a larger surface area for the water to interact with, leading to a concentrated and flavorful brew. This size is perfect for Espresso Machines, Moka Pots or if you're into Turkish Coffee.
